Google Talk does not provide built-in functionality to allow you to control your idle status. Your status is your business - so it only makes sense that you should be able to control it.
Always Idle
There are probably times when you'd rather not let people know you're around. gAlwaysIdle allows you to be 'always idle' so you appear away even when you're typing e-mails and sending instant messages.
Never Idle
Similar to 'always idle', there are probably times when you'd rather not let people know you're away from your computer. For those occasions, gAlwaysIdle allows you to be 'never idle' so you appear to be at your computer even when you're far away.
